Determine to Play
Play is so important for so many reasons. So it goes with art as well. Play allows us to learn with art, gives us new avenues and discoveries on how to use things, uncovering new techniques, and it relieves stress. Tags are great ways to play as they are small and not overwhelming. Below are a couple of recent tags I created. It was nice just taking some moments away from what is going on in our world to create something colorful and fun. Art can be a respite. I wish for you a little time to play, relax and escape. The reality is that often we can’t remember what gifts we’ve gotten in years past but we do remember the memories of being together. The most important gift is, the gift of presence. A few friends and I celebrated just that on Monday. We met when I was a lead Fiskateer and we met through the lovely fun wide world of crafting. What a blessing these ladies have been in my life. Through paper and scissors, I have gained a group of lifelong friends. While crafting brought us together, and I’m so grateful…
