Artwork & All Kinds of Amazing Goods
So recently I drew and painted a little ‘Some Bunny Special’ as well as a Springtime Whale. I posted it and some friends were interested in having their own copy. You can find those little painted precious creatures HERE. So . . . I did a thing. This is a total work in progress, but I thought I’d share with you, that I opened up a Society6 storefront. Basically, I’ve uploaded some of my artwork and Society6 offers that artwork on many different items from stainless steel water bottles, apparel, bedding, furniture, coasters, notebooks, stationary, mugs, and so much more. Below are just a few items available available at the…

Natural Dyeing and Embroidery
What to do with all that beautiful fabric you dyed using fruits, flowers and vegetables? See more HERE. Here’s what I did. Stamp on it: create a sketch, transfer it to a sheet of rubber, then carve a stamp. You can also use a stamp you already have. Ink that stamp up and place on a piece of your naturally dyed cloth. Embroider all or parts of the stamped image. Here are my results. Secondly, I created an art journal page to remember my combinations and the outcome of the dyeing experiments. I encourage you to try something you’ve never done before. It just might be stress releasing and over…

Printinktober . . . Day One
It’s the first day of October and the first day of Inktober and Printintober. Find out more HERE for details, and if you’re up for an art challenge. The funny thing is, I posted the 2019 Inktober prompts, however when I was blog hopping, I saw a former prompt list from 2018 and it must have stuck in my brain. I accidentally used the incorrect prompt and drew inspiration from the word Swift (October 1, 2018). Oh well, the most important thing is that I created. I first sketched in pencil and then went over it with ink that didn’t dry right away. This allowed me time to add shadow…
