DIY Canvas Tape Using My Gel Press
Oh how I love my gel press. The gel press plate picks up lovely layers of acrylic paint. I had some canvas adhesive tape in my stash for years and thought it would make a unique tape. The canvas tape is more dense and thick than a washi or mixed media tape. So I laid acrylic and Archival ink on my gel plate first . . . Next I brayered a thin layer of white paint on the plate and laid down the canvas side of the tape on the plate and pressed firmly. The tape then picked up the paint on the canvas tape.
