Pink – A Month of Awareness and also Celebration
As most know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I was diagnosed ten years ago this coming November 3. Whether you’re a woman or a man, it’s important to be diligent in self-checks or diagnostic screening as necessary. Please know that you are precious. Take care of you! Each day is a gift! It has been nine years next month that I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I’m so thankful that I am here today. As a survivor of Breast Cancer, I want to thank you each for the role you’ve played in my life. Thank you for the way you supported me when I was in the thick of fighting. Thank you for the love and support you’ve shown me. I always hold you close to my heart, and as I think back at all the ways then and now that you’ve touched my life, my heart explodes with gratitude. As many of you know, I was diagnosed with breast cancer five years ago. I have not fought alone! In fact, my uniform of the day states just that. You have lifted, encouraged, supported, given, loved so much and I cannot begin to thank you. You are an amazing force of support!
