Be Authentic Art Journal Entry – Use Your Fodder

There’s been a lot of talk about collage fodder lately. If you’d like to find out more, check out some of my previous posts or visit me on my Instagram account HERE.

While it’s a blast creating collage fodder for your art journals and other projects, it’s just as important to use it. I created this page as a reminder to just be yourself. Be authentic. Everyone else is taken so be the best you, you can be. Here’s what I used to create this page.

A new favorite is Southern Girl Designs (Tiffany Goff Smith) new washi tape which can be found HERE. Love mine!!! Can you spot it? I’m also love the little x’s which are from UmWow Studio. Oh yes!

I always love using my gel press prints to liven up a page. I also like to use deli paper gel prints and then stain them. For more ideas on how to use your gel prints, you can check out THIS post.

Using scraps, you can create a unique, one of a kind art journal entry. Bits and pieces like little pieces of old book paper, scraps, old chipboard, labels and more, can add up to something special. The sweet little gal pulls out like a tag from the gel press pocket.

Wishing all an inspirational day. Don’t forget to use what you have. Most importantly, don’t forget that you are someone special. Just be you. Be authentic. You are a gift to this world.

Warmest creative wishes,

I’ve seen a lot about fodder lately too, I didn’t understand it at first, but the more I see and read the more it really helps to realise how to put a piece together. Thanks for showing us how it can work. I love Tiffany’s work so I shall check her page now too.
