    Printinktober . . . Day One

    It’s the first day of October and the first day of Inktober and Printintober. Find out more HERE for details, and if you’re up for an art challenge. The funny thing is, I posted the 2019 Inktober prompts, however when I was blog hopping, I saw a former prompt list from 2018 and it must have stuck in my brain. I accidentally used the incorrect prompt and drew inspiration from the word Swift (October 1, 2018). Oh well, the most important thing is that I created.     Inktober or Printinktober- A Creative Challenge

    Have you ever heard of Inktober? It’s a wonderful movement that was started by an illustrator named Jake Parker. He wanted to challenge himself to improve his inking skills, shared it with others and it’s taken off. Find out more HERE.     Peak Creative Time For You

    I’ve always been s night owl however after going through breast cancer treatment a few years ago, I found that my body can’t stay up that long anymore. Even though this is true, I still find that the peak creative time for me is in the stillness of the night when all is quiet expect for my imagination.  In fact, sometimes it’s hard to turn off.     Up to Something Artsy

    It’s been a while since I’ve blogged.  One I was fighting off that nasty winter cold, family was in town for the holidays, boat parades, birthdays (my daughter turned 17 and my niece 2), and lots of other activities in between. But I’ve also got some fun artsy news.  I had a friend reach out to me and ask if I was interested in participating in a project called Sketchbook West.  Las Laguna Art Gallery in Laguna Beach hosted this fun project in 2015.  In our sketchbook we’d sketch,  paint,  and create in our smallish book.  From there we took some of the inspiration from our books and created larger pieces.  CHosea…
