Practice Kindness Art Journaling Practice
I’ve had so many stressors in my life lately. Art relieves stress. It’s a practice I’ve come to love and appreciate. Besides family health issues (not mine), I have seen where some people I care about greatly have not been shown kindness. There is a lot of that right now in our world. We can make a difference in our corner. I don’t want to miss those opportunities to show kindness. I learned from my mom who is one kind lady. It breaks my heart when I see such unkindness and while I can’t change it, I can still make my corner of the world a gentler place.
It always helps me to relieve stress when I can put down some feelings with paint, paper, ink, and more. Sometimes I even journal underneath the layers. I took some time and art journaled, and titled this spread, “Practice Kindness.”
Does art help you relieve stress? Bring a calm?
Some things I used on this page; modeling paste, acrylic paint, Dina Wakley gloss sprays, rubber stamps, Tim Holtz paper dolls, coffee, dies, circle punch, ledger paper.
Thank you for showing kindness to me. I hope that today is kind to you. I hope that you experience kindness and have an opportunity to give it.
Warmest creative wishes,

Beautiful and full of wonderful techniques! I understand stressors. A lot of times my art helps my mind to settle and even distracting. We probably need more art in our world right now!
