Uncertainty – A Parallel in Art & Life
I’m not sure about you but these days I’m feeling more uncertain about some things than I ever have. Rising prices, friends and co-workers who have had sudden illnesses, grocery shortages, and more. Having gone through a serious illness before, things can change quickly from one day to the next. Things can be uncertain. I thought I’d share a few of my favorite thoughts and helpful hints when uncertainty might come your way. They help me. Stand on your faith. Read a devotional book or an encouraging story. I’ve had stressors in my life recently and participating in the Index Card A Day challenge (ICAD) has helped me take even just a bit of time to create a small work of art. Most recently, below are some of the most current cards I created with lots ‘o texture. Interested in knowing more? Search #icad. I shared some from the first half HERE. It runs through the end of this month. I’m keeping up although it’s been challenging at times. Nonetheless, I’m grateful for art. Art sure helps save…

Well, during June and July, a challenge takes place called ‘Index Card a Day.’ That’s what an ICAD is. The challenge? You create on an index card beginning June 1 and ending July 31. That is 61 artful index cards. So I’ve been sharing a few. While on vacation for two weeks in Minnesota, I had very limited supplies but managed to keep up some. It was fun challenging myself to create with just a few supplies. For a lot of my cards I did…
