A Somerset Life and Giveaway * Winner Chosen

So I picked a name out of a hat and the winner is . . . . . Marianne B in AZ.  Congratulations.  I’ll notify Stampington to send your copy of Somerset Life your way.  Thank you Stampington!

Some of you are familiar with Stampington and Company’s beautiful publications. For others, maybe you have never had the pleasure to experience these amazing periodicals.  They are so beautifully done.  From the artwork collected, the well written informative and inspiring articles, the thick lovely pages, layout and more, each issue is packed full of creative goodness.  Stampington’s family of publications span so many creative venues; Bella Grace (photos and stories), Art Journaling, Bella Armoire and Altered Couture (fabric arts), Jewelry Affaire and Belle Armoire Jewelry, Green Craft (Eco friendly crafts), Art Doll Quarterly, Somerset Apprentice (art tutorials) Artful Blogging, Somerset Home (Decor), Mingle (creative events) and more. They even have a store and a website with great tutorials.

I have had the blessing of having my work published several times in a variety of Stampington magazines.  I also enjoy writing articles.  I am always humbled as the artists they choose are amazing and the projects so inspiring.  I feel as if it’s an indulgence to sit and read through the pages of these beautiful magazines.

This go round I shared in Somerset Life once again.  Somerset Life is a publication full of inspiring ideas to fill your every day life with beauty, art and creativity.  Somerset Life’s lovely pages contain delightful and original crisp ideas that bring beauty and romance to every day moments.  It’s a way of living that infuses romance and enchantment.

Recently I shared an organizational idea where I store my creative and memory planner supplies. In this Summer Issue of Somerset Life you’ll find the six page article I shared on my Planner storage ideas as well as amazing articles and ideas provided by a host of talented artists.  A few planner goods my article featured was the beautiful artwork of my new friend Adrienne Rodley from Sugar Dot Market, Fiskars (of course), the Reset Girl and more.

One such idea that really inspired me in this Summer issue was . . . ‘Putting a New Spin’ on Storage’ by Melony Miller Bradley.  This artist shared her fantastic idea of a taking a spinning spice rack and sprucing up the containers to store her bath salts she makes as gifts.  The idea is darling!  Melony decorated the tops of the containers and labeled them.  She used bits of jewelry, patterned paper and embellishments to ‘spice up’ this container and inspire us to stay organized but add beauty.

Take a peek inside this issue.  PEEK HERE.

This Summer’s issue of Somerset Life is packed full of goodness.  Would you like hold a copy in your hands?  Often you can find issues at Michaels, Joann’s and several choices at Barnes and Noble.  You can also purchase their publications on their website. Right now they are having a sale on their subscriptions as well.

One lucky reader here (who lives in the U.S.) has the opportunity to win a copy of the Summer issue of Somerset Life.  The winner will have the issue sent to their mailbox by Stampington and Company.  Such Happy Mail!  I’m sorry international readers, the giveaway can only be mailed within the U.S. but I’d still love to hear your thoughts. We in Canada do have border services available so you only have to ship within US and we can pick it up…that way you don’t have to limit this type of thing to US readers only…just a suggestion ??…and by the way I love Bella Grace along with all the other publications.

    Cheryl,
    First congratulations
    Then…
Earlier in the week I was going through some pay issues of magazines (trying to decide…keep? Or not to keep?). I came across the issues of Somerset that I have. They are keepers! I don’t have a lot of them, but I love the ones I do have. As I looked through them I really was thinking the only thing that would make them better wads if they were any of the ones which had your articles. (I thought for sure I had one. Maybe in the guest room closet?).

The ones I have are the Memories issues. One of them came with some beautiful papers in it. I did get as far as taking them out, but if I use it, I won’t have another piece like it. Such a dilemma!

I will be honored to share this with my Facebook friends!

    Sending my hugs!
