How Big is Your Head? Measuring for a Hat

How many hat lovers are out there? Share with me if you love a good hat. I’ve always worn hats of all kinds. You can wear them every day, for practical reasons, or for special occasions. Dress them down or dress them up, they are a good investment.

How big is your head? No, I don’t mean your ego. Often I get asked on how to measure a head for a hat. That’s great if you’re in front of me and I have a tape measure, but what if you’re at home? The Charlie 1 Horse website has some great information on how to do just this. Feel free to check out their measuring guide HERE, not to mention their cool hats. Their logo is a C (like Cheryl) but like a horseshoe.

Just thought I’d pass on some great information. Seen below is my Summer Charlie 1 Horse hat and a leather feather I created to top it.

As well, I want to share with you a couple of favorite places to purchase hats themselves, then I distress mine or deck them out with some of my leather creations and found or created ephemera.

Hats off to you! Know you’re awesome. If you’re local, you may be able to catch me at a future events selling some Artsy Findings (hats, leather feathers, flowers, and other leather art).
