Boutique for a Cause
tis’ the season. I hope all had a lovely Thanksgiving. I did although I have been struggling with a bug. But I’ve been trying to push through it and I’m gearing up for a boutique that will be held at Voyager’s Church in Irvine on Saturday the 6th. It will be a wonderful day of inspiration both while singing some carols and listening to a funny, lighthearted speaker. I’m hoping I may be able to raise some funds so that our sweet girl can participate in a trip to Washington D.C., where her chorale group will compete as well as a trip to Costa Rica ~ she was chosen by her science teacher to receive an award last year and to go on this trip. It is costly however but we are all working towards a goal, praying and hope we can make it.
I wanted to extend an invitation ($5 ticket entrance allows you to listen to the wonderful speaker as well as enjoy the boutique). But hurry if you’re planning on going, they are almost sold out. You can find out more information here. I thought I’d give you a few peeks of some of the things I’ll be selling. Anything I don’t sell at the boutique, I plan on doing a virtual boutique on-line here at www.artsyfindings.com.
What gifts have you or are you going to create for your friends and family this season? Have you attended any boutiques this year? Did you find something special?
Warmest creative wishes,
Some very beautiful pieces Cheryl. I hope you sell out.
You’re so sweet Jean. Yes, she is so diligent when it comes to school. I have loved that Fiskateers have watched her grow and in some ways been the village to help raise her. Xoxo
If you aren’t too sweet Bonnie!
Sounds like a wonderful event. You must be quite proud of your daughter!

You have created so many beautiful pieces to sell at the boutique! I don’t need to wish you luck selling them, because they will sell themselves! I really like the l light bulb necklace and all of the fun ways you have used the trees.
I’m so glad you shared this!
Marianne, if you aren’t so sweet and encouraging. You touch my heart! Thank you for that sweet encouragement! I wish I could hug you!
