Making Old Things New

Who doesn’t love new. In the new year we enjoy that everything is fresh and new. Who wouldn’t like a new bike, new home or new car? But there is a great beauty about taking things of the past and making them ‘new’ . . . repurposing. I thought I’d share with you a little collage of some fun vintage repurposing ideas. I have a similar piece in my bedroom that I use to clip photos, special notes, banners, name tags from events and other things that inspire me. An old gate works perfect for many functional purposes.

The list could go on and on. A wonderful thing is that these days you can find things that look old but for a much smaller price.
