A Daily Creative Practice – ICADs * Part One
Life has been so busy for me the last couple of months. We’ve had some major life changes take place and time has been little for creative things. But I was challenged to do the Index Card A Day prompt. These itty bitty pieces of art take just a spot of time. You can keep a daily creative practice, without having a big commitment of time.
I thought I’d share with you some highlights of my ICADs thus far. It’s a total of 61 cards between the months of June and July. I painted my rolodex pink a couple years ago, and have participated now for a couple of years. The ICAD rolodex serves as an art journal on a roll. I do love using one of my very favorite tools and trusty tools – Gel Press plates.
How about you? Do you have a daily practice of creativity? How do you fit in creative time?
To see more and hopefully it’s an inspiration for you, stay tuned for Part Two.
Warmest Creative Wishes,
These are so much fun. Love the different colors and the many layers.
Thanks sweet Jean. You’re such a blessing. Sending love.
Cheryl, as usual, you have hit the nail on the head again! Another wonderful example of encouraging others! I love your blogs and also when you highlight other artists is very interesting…
You’re so sweet. Love you so much mom and I believe I got some of the artistic abilities from you.
These are so cool! I love the idea of an index card a day. Just the right size to stay creative during busy times.
Isn’t it a fun easy way to create each day? Hope you get some creative time. Miss you.
Need this! Perfect size for creating and keeping track of those creative steps.
Still looking for an afternoon to steal you away!
Love you and your art!
You’re so sweet Judi! It is a perfect size. I’d love to try to make that work one afternoon. Love you sister.
