Mixed Media DIY Roll Up

What a roll up? Well, it’s whatever you make it. Often you can find roll ups to store your paintbrushes or to store jewelry when you travel.

I was gifted a couple of roll ups from a friend who works at a promotional item company. They were denim but pretty cool. I thought, I want to store some art supplies when I travel; like a little art traveling kit. Well, I couldn’t well leave the outside to be plain and had to paint it. The inside has pockets and cute places to put pens or brushes. It also has a striped lining. I’m sure some of you seamstresses out there could whip something up like this in no time.

I used paint, modeling paste, stencils, stamps, collage fodder and paper adhesive. Easy peasy and ready to go.

What would you put in your roll up if you created one?
