Beauty Behind the Lens

I am a native Southern Californian.  While my husband was born in Minnesota and daughter in Florida . . . they too love the sea.  The beach is one of our favorite family outings!  It brings fun, serenity, memories and so much more.  People flock from all over the world to wade on the shores of Southern California and we have the blessing of it being in our backyard. Some locals will know some of these sights but if you ever come to Sunny So Cal. (thinking about our Midwest friends as they get snow), you’ll enjoy these sights as well I believe.

  • Balboa Bar
  • We saw a flyer with a sign asking for Sarah’s hand in marriage . . . she said yes and we heard them all the way on the pier.
  • Share the path – a little message for later on that
  • The famous Newport Pier
  • The oh so yummy infamous Crab Cooker

I just wanted to encourage you . . . don’t forget to capture those every day memories of your town or daily activities.  They are precious.  You can find such beauty behind the lens right there in your own backyard.  Take a moment and ‘smell the roses’ so to speak. I just thought I’d share some scenes from Valentine’s Day near Newport Beach and some of the awesome scenes and beauty behind the lens.

Warmest creative wishes,
