October is Breast Cancer awareness month and as most of you know, I am a breast cancer survivor of four years in November. I speak often for the American Cancer Society raising awareness and funds for those diagnosed and research. I have been sending out some reminders regarding ladies, doing your self checks and getting your mammograms if you are of age or at risk. Easy Bag Upcycle
Do you have odds and ends, scraps of beauty, little pieces, bits and baubles in your art/craft area or studio? If you’re like me, there are all those pretty bits that I have a difficult time saying goodbye to. So, recently I washed a linen bag with a logo on it and when I took it out of the wash, the logo was gone. I needed to add some loveliness to this comfortable bag of mine so I grabbed some beautiful pieces, made some fabric flowers, brought out some stamps, used some tacky glue and started to simply add some dimension and fun to my bag. On the Road Again & A New Look for the AF Blog
Greetings all. First off I want to say thank you for being here. These past three years or so have been the most challenging of my life.
