Precious Leather Album – Eileen Hull Sizzix Chapter 3 Release
Welcome to Eileen Hull’s Chapter 3 release blog hop full of inspiration featuring Sizzix Chapter 3 new releases by Eileen Hull. You’ll be wowed by the inspiration provided by Eileen’s team and these wonderful new versatile dies. Use them for cards, to create albums, boxes, scrapbooking, paper arts, home decor, crafts and more.
You’re in for a treat with some great new releases including the Bigz Plus Slotted Treat Box measuring 6 1/2” x 5” x 3 1/2.” It can hold a variety of items such as a set of cards, journals, ephemera, or you can use it as a gift box! This is a Scoreboards die which is specially designed to cut and score thick material like matboard, including chipboard, leather, felt, fabric and metal. *A 9” wide machine is required to cut this die.
The Field Notes and Specimen Card die is a Bigz XL die that holds 5” x 7” pages or photos- a new orientation! The Specimen Card may be used to hold photos, such as a journaling card or a shaker. Holes are pre-cut into the book spine which is adjustable from 1/2” to 1 1/2 in width. *XL Cutting Pads will be needed to cut the book cover.
The Envelope, Folder & Flowers Thinlits dies are made up of nine dies which is a great value. The dies include an adorable mini envelope, file folder, set of small, medium and large hearts, and a large and small flower and leaf set.
The Keys 3D Embossing Folder is special to Eileen as the keys all came from her Dad’s house. The detail on this embossing folder is beautiful and I can’t wait to add Luster Wax to make the design pop!
You can start here and then move to Eileen’s Blog to start your journey on the Blog Hop. Eileen’s team has created some fantastic makes using these dies so make sure to follow our blog hop.
I created an album titled ‘Precious’ using the new dies ad leather. For the cover I used the new Sizzix ScoreBoards Bigz XL Field Notes & Specimen Card Die, and Keys Textured Embossing Folder to emboss the frame and flowers for subtle texture. I also used the flower shaped dies from the Thinlits Envelope/Folder/Flowers Die to adorn and then stamped and painted additional flowers on the cover using some leather tools.
The inside of the book pages contain the beautiful ‘Birdhouse’ paper collection by P13 found HERE. I used the dies listed above, the absolutely darling Sizzix Floral Alphabet Thinlit Dies by Alexis Trimble, Sizzix Luster Wax, Sizzix Acrylic Paint and Sizzix Effectz Crystal Paste. Sizzix mediums are just awesome as they work so well with paper so you can paint and still run it through your die cutting machine.
These lovely new dies have a world of possibilities waiting for next project.
