Happy Thanksgiving from Ours to Yours

I’m grateful there is a time set aside that we get together with family and friends to reflect on the many blessings in our lives. Our lives should never be too busy to be grateful, but life can get busy.

I wanted to share a couple thoughts as this holiday approaches.

  • Maybe there is a sense of loss this year at Thanksgiving; losing a loved one, loss of a job, someone is missing from the table because they are serving in the military, or there is a strained relationship. Know that someone is thinking of and praying for you and that you are not alone.
  • Most of us have an amazing meal we partake in on Thanksgiving. What a blessing. Others in our community may not have this privilege. This is a great season for giving.
  • Gratitude and thankfulness is a practice that is so good for the heart, mind, soul and body. Making it gratitude a regular practice, not just at Thanksgiving is a healthy thing.

From our family to yours, we are wishing you a warm Thanksgiving filled with love.
