Clearly Transparent in Art and Life

I love using transparent items in my art journal. They offer a unique and fun element throughout the pages of an art journal. Transparency provides layers you can see.

Some clear items you can include in your art journal;

  • Print on saran wrap with acrylic paint
  • Use clear post it tabs
  • Keep packaging that’s clear and colorful. Use it to add surprising bits and pieces.
  • Use your gel plate to print on a transparency

Just as in art, being transparent in life has great benefits. While it’s important to have healthy boundaries when ‘putting yourself out there,’ there are so many benefits for those sharing and those listening. Being transparent and sharing your life experience with others helps to promote understanding, creates a sense of unity and a feeling we aren’t alone on this journey called life, and it helps us grow.

So maybe next time you share on social media, with a friend or a group, you want to stretch yourself and share something from your life experience and tool box. It just may make an amazing difference in another’s life.

Wishing you a beautiful day and warmest creative wishes.

    I always take pride in watching how creative you are.
    From being a toddler l, until now you have always enjoyed creating things, sharing and making others happy because you care so much about them and assisting them anyway possible.
    I worried so much about you when you had cancer and I watched you in so much pain, but you managed to keep the creativity going and not letting anyone know you were in so much pain. When you got the message you were surviving the cancer, I’ve loved watching you encourage others going through what you went through. You were such a trooper helping friends going through the same thing you did. You stood side by side a couple friend’s bedside that you lost until the end. You encouraged them to journal and create something that could help them pass the time.
    People may say I’m prejudiced, but I know they felt the same way as I.
    Love you my re than you could possibly imagine ver know!
