An Art Journaling Mom

On Mother’s Day, which also happened to be my birthday, I took a little time to art journal. I thought about our girl who made me a mother. I will never forget after she was born, I couldn’t sleep because she I was in awe of this sweet little human.

So I created the below page as a momento of that feeling. It’s got some flaps and a cute little vintage playing card sent to me by a friend. The sentiments read, ‘Fell in love with her at once,’ ‘this heart of mine,’ and ‘You are my Sunshine.’

How about you? Have you ever journaled something so sweet and personal to your heart? So precious. Maybe there’s something you want to journal. What would that be?

Warmest creative wishes,

I was so very blessed to be in the room when I saw you, my beautiful daughter, Cheryl, and I witnessed you giving birth, a wonderful miracle of my sweet granddaughter entering this world.
Needless to say, “My Cup Runneth Over”.
Good illustrations of the colorful feeling you had.
    God is so good!
