We’re Headed North – What’s on Your Travel Bucket List?

“Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in this world.” ~ Gustav Flaubert.

We have had the opportunity to travel the world and for that I’m grateful. Many of you know that we lived in different countries for several years. There were amazing things about each but I still think Madagascar holds a very special place.

I live in the United States and you don’t have to travel far to see what a gorgeous country this is. Our National Parks are amazing. From sea to shining sea, our country is beautiful and diverse.

We love Yellowstone and the beauty of Big Sky Montana. It’s part of the reason that Abigail originally chose Montana State University. Next week we are headed on a road trip to Glacier National Park in Montana and into Canada. We hope to visit family in Montana and then go North. We have attempted this trip a couple of times; one year it was frozen over and the last, the roads were closed due to wildfires. Praying and hoping the road is clear. Glacier and Banff has been on our bucket list for quite some time

I thought it would be fun if you shared your top 5 places you’d like to visit that are on your bucket list. If money weren’t an object . . . what top five places would you experience?

I love to travel and your quotes and thoughts on travel. Glacier Nat’l Park, Canada and Banff is on our list, but will have to wait. When you have children and grandchildren living in other states, you travel to see them. We are going up north in September to do that, then I am off to Europe in October – Barcelona and Paris! Wheeee!
Safe and happy trails to you!

Thanks sweet Judi. We still need to connect and get together. Yes, I have friends now all over and it’s been fun traveling to stay with them. Enjoy your special time with family. Life is short. So important to just do it!
