Get Outside – What’s Unique to your Area

Hubby and I celebrated 28 years of marriage on June 22nd. It was a beautiful Saturday. We started the morning with a lovely time hanging out at home . . . cards and he gifted me with some gorgeous flowers. We headed to the Lake Forest Sun and Sail Clubhouse for some self-care and exercise. This is also where we had our wedding reception so many years ago. We headed to lunch, then went on to The Camp and The Lab in Costa Mesa. We visited Black Market Bakery and enjoyed the free smells and a drink. We ended at Crystal Cove State Park/Beach for several hours flying our kites enjoying the beautiful sunshine and the mighty Pacific. It was relaxing day just enjoying one another and the outdoors. Enjoy the sites. If you’re local in So. Cal. these are some great places to visit. Great people watching, fresh air, and unique shopping. Enjoy the photos portraying a little taste of some local places and wildlife here in the O.C.

What’s your area known for? I encourage you to get outside, enjoy the sites and the people. Life is short. Take a breather. Go fly a kite, Take a walk. Do something exhilarating. Be present. Live in the moment.

Parking Spaces are unique.
Enjoy the company of others!
Note, the tractor seat (some seating at the Camp) is from hubby’s home state.
The bread baked fresh daily smelled amazing. Breads of all kinds.
Love the sign behind him . . . so true . . . “Epic Hero”
The Lab
The living room at the Lab
On the couch in the living room.
Kind messages left for all.
Perfect day for kite flying at Crystal Cove.
Let’s go fly a kite . . . Our kites flew so high it was just a speck in the camera. Love this capture of Rodney.
Can you hear the waves? Smell the salt air?

Wishing you days of sunshine and special memories.
