I just had to share about some recent ‘Planner’ events, ideas and more.  How many of you have a creative planner in your hand?

I’ve had my Kikki K now for over two years and I will retire her this year.  She’s a beautiful blue but I chose a fun Heidi Swapp planner for 2017.  I love her style and it gives me a base of color to work with and build from.  I also love the style of the planner . . . a place for appointments but also room for a ‘to do‘ list adjacent to to your appointments.  I also love the gold polka dots but adding beautiful color in there.  I’m a pastel vintage girl.

Speaking of planners . . . I was thrilled to be a part in a small way (helping with sponsors and teaching a mini class) at the Fall Planner event hosted by Michelle Rossibell and Susan McDonnell.  Just such lovely people.  Below is my planner, a peek in my current planner, a couple of great swap clips made by others for the Fall season, new releases ~ Planner Stamps from Prima, my planner stack and the make and take I taught (the Queen of Harvest Vintage tag).  I met another friend (shout out to Nikki) who is a kindred vintage loving planner girl!

It was a sold out event of 100+ planner girls with a wonderful shopping experience, classes, make and takes, prizes, swaps, gift exchanges, friendship, fun and more.  Held at the Los Serranos Country Club it was such an amazing event.  See a few photos from the event below.  What a great event and time together!  Thank you ladies!

So much to share so I’ll save some for later but I thought I’d leave you with a couple of crafty ideas.  The first . . . Jenni Bowlin’s Fiskars pinwheel punch . . . make little pinwheel clips for your planner like below.  Secondly, a friend gave me the cutest paper.  I loved the little perforated strips that you usually discard so instead of trashing them, I used them to make washi tape stickers.  Using your stash (which we are blessed to have) is a plus in so many ways.

Lastly, I have a three (possibly four) Queen of Harvest tag kits I’d like to giveaway.  If you’d like your own (includes directions), the kit has everything to make the tag – just leave a comment here.

Stay tuned for some additional fun ideas as well.

Warmest creative wishes,
