2013 Holds A New Journey For All

A new year, a new start, a new journey!  For each of us 2013 holds many new experiences.  For me (and you because many are on this journey with me), this holds some new adventures and a fight!  I'm grateful for your support, encouragement, prayers, thoughts, and more in this journey ahead.

While my journey has already begun, surgery is scheduled for January 14th.  This is a key chapter in this fight against breast cancer.  With that many of you have asked about being kept up to date on surgery, ways to help, updates on the journey in general and we've set up a site that is a great place to do just that.  Lotsa Helping Hands is a great community (somewhat like Facebook) to connect, receive information and more.  I want to first thank you to you all who have asked about being kept up to date or ways you can help.  Thank you.

Here is a direct link to 'our' community called Helping Hands for Cheryl.

You do need to register with your email address.  It's a great site (we are thankful for Lotsa Helping Hands) to help coordinate bringing together loved ones.
Feel free to visit and register if you'd like.

Artsy Findings store will continue to be open but the blog will be in pause mode.  I'm expected to be in the hospital (2-3 days) and recuperation mode for approximately 4 weeks.  Know I appreciate you so much!  You are dear to my heart and I'm grateful for each of you!

Below, a canvas journal I just started . . . when I feel like creating about my new 'pink' journey and fight.  A tree of hope tops my journal and a reminder that I am brave.  My tree is rooted in hope and love which I plan to add.
