Virtual Gallery Walk with Liz Hicks and Friends

I was thrilled when a sweet dear friend of mine Liz Hicks shared she'd like to do a Virtual Gallery Walk.  She invited some artistic friends for this incredible adventure all in the name of art, friendship, inspiration and community.  I love that she has really enjoyed learning, growing, and cultivating in her new art adventures at school.

Here in Southern California there are many art walks that inspire the community on a regular basis.  One of the most frequent are the Art Walks in Santa Ana which take place on the first Saturday of each month in the downtown Artists Village.  It's a lovely event where the street comes alive.

Just like the Santa Ana Art Walk, Liz has a very similar view to support one another in the art community.  Thus she created a virtual art walk where I'm sure you will connect and enjoy art from all different places across the states and all different styles and mediums used.  Liz shares . . . 'This is a peek into a gallery that you might not have ever been able to see in your area.  It is a group of 10 (or less) artists who are gathering with the sole purpose of sharing their love of art, inspiration and aspirations in hopes that this intrigues you to follow your passion.'

Unlike realistic art walks this one will be on-line and open slowly . . . so you can savor and walk through each gallery with ease and leisure.  As Liz shared as well, 'this exhibit will never expire!'

As each artist shares, we will encourage you to walk through the next door or hall to the experience another exhibit and artist.

Once again Liz explains . . . 'Each artist will share their take on the exhibit topic and this will allow you to take the information that each of them shares and leave with the info that best helps you in your mission or passion.  This is about community so leave a comment, ask a question.  This event is where you can engage with the artist (which hardly every happens in real life!) and get to know them and their artistic style.'

So treat yourself to not only a day in the gallery but several and savor the different artists being featured 'now and then.'  We hope as you enter these halls you will find inspiration and beauty that will encourage you to create, connect and reach out.

'Our first exhibit will begin October 1st and will be called:  Artistic Inspiration: Then and Now.

Feel free to visit the halls and walls of the following artists even before we take this Art Walk together:
